Bronze Water Fountain Sculptures by Malgorzata Chodakowska - WOW
When we think of water fountain sculptures we usually think of something completely abstract or completely traditional but Malgorzata Chodakowska creates water fountain sculptures out of bronze that are stylized realism for a completely contemporary aesthetic and the final results can be described with one word – WOW.
Malgorzata Chodakowska Water Fountain Sculptures
Malgorzata Chodakowska figurative water fountain sculptures are all slightly elongated which give them an ethereal quality – like water nymphs.
Choosing to use the cascading water to suggest wings on this female form is just genius.
Even her water fountain sculptures with minimal water dribbling from the installations are exciting and filled with movement, again – WOW.
Some of Malgorzata Chodakowska figures are less elongated and more realistic but even then, they are just as magical.
Malgorzata Chodakowska bronze children evoke a sense of calm, peace and innocence.
Whether featured singularly or in groups, Malgorzata Chodakowska water fountains tell a story.
It really is amazing how she can use the water drips as part of the overall water fountain sculpture rather than simply as an extra detail.
Malgorzata Chodakowska Art Sculptures
As gorgeous as the Malgorzata Chodakowska water fountains are, her sculptures sans water are just as beautiful. These are two of my favourites.
Many of her sculptures feature clothed figures and most are made from wood rather than bronze.
